I'm currently a student studying Theater with an emphasis in Costume Design. I also write, do graphic design, and make digital art. I'm wearing a hat I made myself in my photo.
I built this website myself in February and March 2023. I wanted a digital portfolio that I could have total control over. Everything I do will live here (eventually). This site is kindly hosted by Neocities.

ARTIST STATEMENT
To me, costume design is worldbuilding. I want to understand the way a character sees themselves, the way they are seen by others, and pay careful attention to their own choice in how they wish to be perceived. My work is an exercise in observation and interpretation of personality as well as the million ways it is refracted on others.
I love costume design because it fascinates me. I have prosopagnosia - the inability to recognize faces, so the way people dress is what I recognize them by. Clothing and personal aesthetic choices (or the utilitarian non-choice) are a language to me, one that I seek to understand and interpret as best as possible onstage.
